Tri County Collision is proud of its long-standing relationship with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Call us and we will be happy to arrange a rental car for you. When you drop off your car, we will arrange for Enterprise Rent-A-Car to pick you up. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy or if you are the claimant. Check your insurance policy or call your agent and find out if you have car rental coverage and what your coverage limitations are. If you do not have car rental coverag,e we will ensure you the lowest rate possible with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

No. Pennsylvania law states that you only need one estimate of repair. Do not waste your time running around getting estimates. Tri County Collision will negotiate on your behalf with your insurance company to insure a fair and proper repair to your vehicle.
Yes. Some insurance companies own collision repair shops or have an incentive to refer work to a specific shop. However, your vehicle is a large investment and you have a legal right to decide where it will be repaired after an accident.
Yes. Our goal is to provide you with a quick turn-around time. We generally order your car’s parts at the time that we write your estimate and schedule your car for work. Other shops may take weeks to process your claim and order parts.
We pride ourselves on efficiency and on-time delivery. However, the exact repair time on your vehicle depends on some things outside of our control. For example, parts availability and the responsiveness of your insurance company can affect the time it takes to complete a repair. When we prepare your estimate, we will let you know, based upon our years of experience, how long it will take to repair your vehicle and then we will keep in touch with you if there is a change in our original time estimate.
Absolutely. You may want to have us do additional body repair not covered in your auto insurance claim. We are a full-service auto repair shop. We do both ordinary auto maintenance and major mechanical repairs. We have developed long and trusting relationships with our customers who rely on Tri County Collision to take care of all of their auto service needs.
If you have door dings or dimples caused by hail, paintless dent repair may be a cost-effective solution rather than full body and paint work. We can advise you about your alternatives when your car is being inspected.
No. A car is a total loss when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance company’s determined value of your car or when the car is structurally not repairable. Today most cars are built using unibody construction, meaning that frame and body are one. If a section of the frame is beyond repair, we can simply replace that section. Tri County Collision will return your car to pre-accident condition.
Parts that wear out and need replacement over time are commonly subject to betterment charges. Parts such as batteries, tires, and suspension that may need to be replaced during the repair process may be subject to betterment charges. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are prorated and may be an additional cost to you.
Yes. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all of our repairs for as long as you own the vehicle.
Yes. The deductible must be paid per your insurance policy requirements and subject to Pennsylvania state law. The deductible is usually paid when you are picking up your car upon completion of repairs, although you can prepay if desired.

Insurance companies will often establish a relationship with collision centers to streamline the repair process. We have such a relationship with several insurance companies. Essentially, it allows us to begin repairs on a vehicle without waiting for the insurance estimator to inspect the vehicle. In any event, you can decide where your vehicle is repaired whether or not the collision center is a direct repair facility.
Absolutely! If your car has been dinged or scratched, we can repair it. We also perform a full detail on your vehicle. Often some minor cosmetic work and a full detail can make you feel like you have a brand-new vehicle.
Yes. We prefer to use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for all repairs and we do everything within our power to maximize the use of OEM parts. Your insurance company might only pay for aftermarket, rebuilt, recycled, or reconditioned parts. If you have questions, do not hesitate to discuss it with one of our trained estimators.
